My dad sent me this photo from some sort of public photo taking kiosk in Cheyenne, which I hear is a lovely city filled with many horse related historical sites and photos of nice looking people in big empty hallways. He is pictured holding a Norfin Troll and a happy meal toy, two items my daughter Zelda played with while visiting them recently. This inspired my mother and father to carry these toys around the country while on a walking tour where carrying extra baggage seems like something you would want to avoid. Go Grampies!

Today was Zelda’s first birthday party. She had a bunch of baby friends come over to eat a special banana cake that Katie made. It was pretty much a disgusting mess of cute babies being cute. It is great to be a dad.
