1. If you’ve got an iPad, go get the new version of Make Pixel Art, which just hit the app store minutes ago! The Chrome version will be available tomorrow morning.

I will post more about this tomorrow, but this new version has some awesome new tools like magic isometric boxes! If you draw pixels, check it out!

  2. [Flash 10 is required to watch video]

Here is another progress video of the one of the new features I am working on for the next release of Make Pixel Art.

You can now drag isometric boxes in any direction to create 3D boxes with only two gestures.  The boxes automagically shade themselves, so all you’ve got to do is fill in the details to create isometric buildings and other objects.

  3. Make Pixel Art is also being featured on the FRONT PAGE of the iPad app store as a “New and Noteworthy” app!  Hooray for pixels!

  4. Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing company.  Katie loves their jeans, and I have an awesome green cardigan that I bought at their New York store that I wear all the time.
It turns out that, in addition to making cool clothes, they also release fantastic iPad apps! If you iPad, you must immediately download Uniqlo Calendar.  It plays awesome music, shows tilt-shifted videos of the seasons changing in Japan, and also downloads and visualizes your Google Calendars.  What?  Yes!  There are five free packs of videos and music available, and they are all great in a Katamari Damacy way.
