    Here is another progress video of the one of the new features I am working on for the next release of Make Pixel Art.

    You can now drag isometric boxes in any direction to create 3D boxes with only two gestures.  The boxes automagically shade themselves, so all you’ve got to do is fill in the details to create isometric buildings and other objects.

Hey Tumblr friends, I want more people to use Make Pixel Art.  The app is selling well for the iPad, but the version we made for Mac/PC that runs inside Chrome has only sold like 5 copies.  It is sad, because the Chrome version really kicks ass and is a lot of fun to use.  And we built it so people would use it!  So for today only, we are giving away the Chrome version!  In addition to a suite of pixel art drawing tools, unique color manipulation tools, and access to a large and growing library of reusable sprites, the full version gives you: An artist profile on MakePixelArt.com A way to store drawings and work on them again in the future without publishing them to the web A pixel inventory system, where you can collect and build a library of pieces to create truly epic drawings.   5. As part of my continued efforts to become a world class pixel artist, I drew this picture of Batman punching someone’s lights out.  It is relatively high res compared to most of the drawings I do, which tend to max out at about 20 pixels wide.
