1. We had an unusually social and nerd themed weekend. On Saturday, we went to see Neiliyo sing songs about games at Club Deville.  The proof that we were actually out of the house and at a party is above, a photo taken by a real live party photographer.  I even wore pants! And then, on Sunday, we went to Dr. Bleeps Hand Made Music event and built electronic doodads.  We were soldering til midnight, like Chinese slave labor.  It was great fun. Lesson learned: Austin is filled with cultural activities laser targeted at me - it is only a matter of time before someone invites me to a minimalist techno concert during which we will be taught how to build an army of remote controlled attack helicopters.
