Look! The furnace finally works! We can stop freezing our asses off.: The last time I came to Texas, I thought I would be helpful and call the gas company to have a problem with the gas system in the house fixed. Unfortunately, when they came out, they discovered some code problems with the house and shut the gas off entirely. The gas was off for about a month before it got fixed, and Alex and Dakota couldn’t shower or clean their clothes for the entire time. Luckily, this time, all I had to do was buy a new lighter to light the pilot light.
